| For over 15 years Husky Creek Sleds has been producing sleds for competitive sled dog racing. The Iditarod, Yukon Quest, International Pedigree Stage Stop, La Grand Odyssey, Diavik 150, John Beargrease, UP 200, and Can Am Crown name some of the most recognized race courses our sleds have traveled on. We also supply dog sleds to trappers and many outdoor adventurers. Our sleds have been known to last for years with 1,000's of training and racing miles. We are committed to building high quality dog sleds with only the finest materials. Each sled is hand crafted and many times customized to the clients needs. We stand behind our product and take pride in each dog sled we sell. |
JR began racing sled dogs at the age of 7 and built his first sled when he was 10 years old. Over the next 8 years JR worked on perfecting the basic fundamentals of our easy rider sled design. Now after 15 years in the dog sled industry JR and Anna work together to produce some of the best dog sleds in the business. Each season JR and Anna work on improving the sleds we produce by personally testing each new sled design. Yes, we are the guinea pigs so to speak. If the new sled features make it through our training and racing season with success you can guarantee that you will be seeing the sleds on the market. |
JR and Anna together own and operate a sled dog racing kennel. Husky Creek Kennel is home to 45 racing sled dogs.
